strawberry lemon bars. from pinterest!!! they make you pucker. like anything with lemon should!!! AND... they were super easy!!!

my "hawaiian" spread! hawaiian pizza, macadamia nut hershey's kisses, chips and guac and gluten free cookies for a friend!

mai tais and some wine...

it was tacky hawaiian night!!! and i just loved the color combo in the dress!!!! so here we are at our bunco night! (i happened to win $15!!)

i wish i could remember what they were doing that was so cute... last week!... i think it was how they brought their chairs in the family room to watch something while i made dinner. they really "CAN" be best buddies!

the pile of clothes is since removed!! (put away finally!!) but, what i wore to church on sunday...
my son taking a "nap" in the kitchen. under the dirty rug. and reading!
today before my awesome hawaiian mumu... for preschool pick up!

sorry i have been mia for a few days. i have a cold, and have been sleeping every chance i get! and, david is home now, and has had a pretty decent schedule! it's been nice!

jamey is getting so big! he's still fighting potty training, so we are NOT doing it again. but hey, the kid can't go to kindergarten in diapers, right? he does, however, continually tell me how pretty i look. and really is SO SWEET! and has apoplexy over ANYTHING veggie tales... including the awesome veggie tales nativity set the kids got today from grammie! i wish i had his reaction on camera. he has been BEGGING for it for weeks! and the kids took it upstairs and played with it for a LONG time! it was so sweet....

nora is SO BIG. she is a big girl. she is not a baby, or even a toddler any more. she is a KID. it's so weird to look at her. i think she's gotten taller this week. and more mature. she is just big! i can't even describe what it does to my heart to see my baby girl growing up!! she wants to be twins with me all the time!!! and comes in in the morning dressed in the cutest outfits! and talks so maturely.

we were at a play date the other day, and the friend was a little bossy (which was GREAT, because it's usually nora who's bossy, so good to see her in that role). i was so proud of her for just going along with it. she wasn't rude or pushy or anything. she just played!

this morning, we were having a discussion at breakfast. nora wanted to know if the Bible was God's or Jesus'. i told her it was God breathed, so written by God, but He and Jesus are the same, so it really didn't matter. she then asked how they could be the same. wow... try explaining that to some 40 year olds, let alone a 4 year old!!

she can spell "nora and james" all by herself. even the "and"! i love it! she's obsessed with writing things. and it used to be, she would ask me to spell a word, and between letters, like 20 minutes would pass. so i would forget what word we were on, let alone what letter. now, she barely gives me time to get one letter out before she's ready for the next.

the end... that's all i can think of for tonight...

linking up with lindsay. i know she gives prompts for the week. i promise i will try to participate when i am not growing a small child!!!

You look beautiful! And your kiddos are adorable! Isn't it crazy how fast they grow and mature? My daughter will be two in Feb and I am already amazed that her little baby face and body are slowly giving way to the look of a kid. Yikes! ;) Nice to meet you!

We had this book when I was little that compared God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit to the different parts of any apple - all with different roles and forms but all part of the same thing. It's a really good way to explain it to kids. I found the book on Amazon in case you're interested
