day one.... potty boot camp

so, i decided to go for it today... potty training. which means, we are home. all day. that's a stretch for me. i like to be out and about. it's gone well so far. i was reaching the end of my patience about noon, so everyone went down for a slightly early nap! it's tiring work! the upside is that i am getting some extra laundry done (to fill up the loads with underwear and other stuff that gets wet!!!)

we've only been through 4 or 5 pairs of underwear and also had 5 or 6 successes. however, she wasn't hungry for lunch... was it all the fluids i am shoving down her throat, or the jellybeans she gets as a reward?? (actually, we are alternating between 2 jellybeans (for her age) and two chocolate covered sunflower seeds from trader joes)

here's a video from last week. nora was entertaining me one afternoon. nora still likes to talk about her "new home" and all the "new" stuff that goes along with it! she has talked all weekend about having had friends over on saturday and getting to play in our new backyard. she is also very excited about the new friend, addison, that lives next door. we talk quite often about addison. she happens to have about every toy known to man and shares quite nicely with nora! we are thankful for that! the girls play so nicely. i have some pictures of the girls doing waterworld this weekend (think kiddie pool meets splash park), and will upload them soon.
