her friend came over to play. poor girl is the youngest of four, and nora is used to being the oldest and in charge. nora kept taking her toys. however, they did have a great time, too! they were in nora's room, and i could hear them laughing. like the awesome, belly laugh, something got your funnybone kind. it was so cute! nora and i had a long talk about how God gives us gifts and lets us use things (like our toys), and we need to share those with others, including our friends. that makes God happy. she said she wanted to make God happy. i love her!!
last night, we all went to target! it was a blast... david pushed the kids, while i shopped off my list (and a little not on the list). i was reminded why i don't usually bring david (he hates shopping, especially if i deviate from my list), and he was reminded why he doesn't usually come (i tend to deviate... if only to get stuff i needed but forgot as i was making my list thirty seconds before we walk out the door!). but, in all it was fun, and we got a bunch of stuff we needed... it was just a perfect day for me. good church (btw, david taught sunday school and did AWESOME! so proud of him...), good kindergarden class, GREAT nap, and then it was still only 3:30pm. totally felt like it should have been later, but we had so much day left! went out, came home, put kids in bed, ate dinner and thoroughly cleaned my house!!! the end.
