my babies...

nora working hard on a project for daddy...  so thankful for the flat rate boxes!!

james with his new sword from daddy...

the kids watching a movie... seriously this boy is like his daddy!!

sitting in the walker at church last week... how did he get so big???

my fabulous friend made me dinner before bootcamp started!  it was great!!!

my sweet little man, talking away!

okay... didn't really explain, but boot camp is a workout class run by a military spouse.  it's cardio with a lot of strengthening and agility.  in most ways i have been doing better than i expected.  even not feeling quite as sore as i expected.  (although, still quite sore!!  i am happy that i can move at least!)  i am keeping up with the runners better than i thought.  but today, the burpees KILLED me!  (start standing, squat down, kick your legs out behind you to push up position, do a push up, bring your knees back up, jump up to standing again!)  i was S-L-O-W!!  but, i will get better!

nora asked today, as we drove by the golf course, if daddy got to golf on his ship.   i said no, that his ship was too small, but he would when he was in port.  which begged the question from my kids about what a port was.  i then tried to explain that when we went to visit daddy on his ship, that was a port.  and because this is where we live, this is the "home port".

i then told them that daddy is in singapore right now (it's all over Facebook... not an opsec breech!), but he's not getting off the ship (a long story for another time...), so he can't golf there, but he will next time.  well, nora thought the name "singapore" was great.  she asked, "do they sing, sing, sing there?"

this afternoon, jamey was the daddy that had to go on his ship.  he would say goodbye to nora and go to work on his ship.  sometimes, he would go in to the bathroom to go potty on his ship.  it was so sweet!!!

they keep me happy, these kids of mine!  i am so thankful for them....  can't wait to post tomorrow for you all...  it's going to be a big day!
