playing...

we played barbies yesterday. i love just watching her play. it's so sweet. and her imagination. we have to play EXACTLY like a movie she's seen. and it frustrates her when she can't remember a line. but she will change the clothes and let each barbie be a different character, even the boy characters! i love it.

yesterday, she was showing me a picture she drew of daddy's ship. it had an anchor (how does she KNOW that?), and there was blood. i asked why, she said, "daddy's ship is fighting the pirates and they are shooting blood at them". decent explanation, i guess! again.... how does she KNOW??

jamey is getting so big. he listens "averagely well" in his class, and they realized he responds best to "jamey", not "james".

i got out all the baby boy clothes yesterday and hung them up. i wanted to see and remember what i have, and see what i might need more of... (i have a lot of long-sleeve stuff for newborns, but i won't need most of that!) i also bought christopher a tiny (0-3mo) swimsuit!!! so sweet... can't wait to use it!
