homeless... again!

watching that parade by our house!!

GO NAVY!

going to david's graduation, and getting ready to leave newport. love that bridge... watch for it again this post!

david getting his diploma. it was such a cool graduation and i loved the speaker. loved singing the national anthem. and LOVE my husband and what he does!

navy band... did a great job!

this starts the list of things i am crushing on right now. i've seen it on other blogs, and thought i would show you! i am totally crushing on the new flower in my hair.. and that fluorescent pink color that is EVERYWHERE this season!

TOTALLY crushing on this man! who was, by the way, a distinguished graduate of his class!!!

alex and ani... and this newport bracelet. a friend gave it to me to remember my time in newport, and her, by! she had no idea how i was crushing on this... (btw, see the bridge???)

my new running shorts. i've never been one to run in shorts, let alone run! (other than the half marathon... ) but i LOVE these new shorts, their color, and am really starting to love running. my runs recently have all broken 10 min miles! maybe my fastest ever!

this boy!!!

and my final crush... this girl! love these sweet kids, and it was SO MUCH FUN to see them!!! we missed them, and they gave us a warm welcome!

grandpa set up a squash date for david with some of his co workers. so fun!! i've only seen david play once, so it was fun to watch!

daddy got to play squash a little bit the other night (and won!! no surprise there!)

nora and i went to watch! she showed me all of her cheerleader moves, including a cheer she had picked up! so sweet!!

when we went to the park, this was how she dressed!

she did decide the cape might not be appropriate attire, and eventually lost the sweater, too!

playing on the tires... trying to be brave!

enjoying the water table with a new friend (daughter of one of grandpa's co workers)

i wish i had gotten a pic when the fabric was first opened... nora asked grammie for some dorothy fabric. it came yesterday. she was almost as excited about fabric as i get!

grammie and grandpa had to work this morning, so the kids and i (and sadie) explored the campus a little bit.

we found this lake! nora was quite fascinated!

so much fun!

we came home and played bubbles!!

and explored the outdoors! nora and james love the big fields!

so here we are. homeless again! our stuff is on a truck, heading to a boat. we should have it no later than june 27th. and we shipped it on may 3rd. wow! glad we aren't getting there till after that! last week was a smooth transition. i got to spend a lot of time saying goodbye and hanging out with friend and their new babies!! david and i spent a lot of time just hanging out, and exploring newport. it was so much fun! we stayed at his aunt's condo the last few days, and it was walking distance to so many fun things! the last morning, we went for a run on the cliffs, and it was so much fun to enjoy the view and my best friend!

we hit up chick-fil-a on the way up, and i had some fun at the mall (AWESOME MALL) while david ate. we got here in time to play with the kids for a bit, then david got to play squash. at the squash game, nora was cheering for daddy with this cheer she learned on "special agent oso". it was for the "gators". she couldn't get past cheering for the gators to say "daddy"! it was cute. she also told me that her favorite colors were "pink and purple and sparkle"! sweet...

daddy shipped off to maine for the weekend to do some sailing, so the kids and i have been hanging out here. in the mornings, we have played and explored while grammie and grandpa work. then, nap time and more playing! last night, sue and i got to watch "anne of green gables" together! it was so much fun. i couldn't remember the last time i saw it! hopefully tonight, we'll watch "anne of avonlea"!

however, my kids have been boycotting bedtime. or sleeping at all at night. last night, jamey screamed for 90 minutes, and when he stopped, nora started. i think she had growing pains, but she was just miserable, well into the early morning! here's to a better night tonight!
