crazy clouds! we had a tornado warning today. attached to that was an instruction to go to basements as the safest place... except we don't do basements here because of the earthquake danger... uh oh!!
my fairy today. she loved being outside. when it was pouring, i let her play outside for awhile and she LOVED it! she just watched the water pour off the side of the house and fill up a bowl. she would empty it and let it fill again. who knew it could be such entertainment!
she got up from her nap as tinkerbell. i was cooking with peas, and she decided she wanted them. she took my whole cup and ate the majority of them. awesome afternoon snack!!
the effects of cheap crayons!!!
so, we have Bible study on tuesdays. we take the kids and two pack-n-plays and trek to a friend's house. we put the kids to bed, have Bible study, then wake the kids up and bring them home. they're usually not too much worse for the wear. tonight, nora was very teary the whole way home. i can understand. not fun to be woken up, dragged outside where it's cold, and taken back to bed. but, she was asking for me. i went in and snuggled her. we talked about what is going on tomorrow. i promised her a popsicle again if we have no more accidents (by popsicle, i mean crushed fruit, frozen!). then, hysterically she asked for "one piece". i couldn't figure it out. one piece of candy instead, one piece jammies, one piece of toy. it went on for five minutes, until finally she screamed for daddy. he came in and i told him what she wanted. she wanted "when peace"... her song "it is well with my soul". boy, i feel sheepish!!!
however, when asked what we did yesterday, she didn't mention up and downs or the rides at the mall. she said, "daddy played video games".

I'm telling you Shell, you are missing out on a huge opportunity. Nora would be the cutest baby model ever. Just look at the picture of her outside. I mean c'mon! Anyways, love you guys!
