time...

it's been awhile... let's talk about my kids.  cause that's what you are here for, right??

nora:  can now ride a 2-wheeler...
can read pretty much anything independently.
is such a sweet, obedient girl.
and really helpful.
she totally gives in to peer pressure right now and is driven by what others think.  especially older kids.

i am hoping that last quality doesn't last too long...  and thankfully she is around pretty good kids right now.  she's "modeling" after them!

she's a good kid.  a fun kid.  a smart kid.

she loves Jesus.  and doing what is right.

i love seeing the sparkle in her eyes.

she is fearless.  we surfed a few weekends ago, and those around us were amazed at her, when she would fall off, and get back up.  i could almost hear them breathe a sigh of relief when she was back on the board.  but she had it the whole time!  fearless!!!

jamey:  he is almost 4.  and totally almost 4!
but he, too, has a sparkle.  a sweetness to him.
he's a middle child.
he is cautious.  but can be talked in to quite a bit.  especially if sissy is doing it!

i love when he gets super excited about something...  his whole body starts to shake.  and you get excited, just cause he is.

he has been telling me that he has no friends at school.  which i know isn't true because i've talked to the other parents.  there are a few who's girls only talk about james.  (yes, girls...)  but i asked the teacher about it, she said he is ALWAYS playing with someone.  and is quietly mischievous.  it was so sweet..

chris:  is taking steps.
has these blue eyes that drive everyone wild.
and this blonde hair.
is really starting to communicate.
i might be the only one who understands.
but he does a good job trying!

he folds his hands to say "thank you Jesus".  and thank you any other time i ask him!  oops... didn't specify thank you as a prayer, and the sign for thank you!

and he signs "please".  it's so sweet...  can't always tell what he means...  but he does it!

this time is going by so fast.  the kids are growing up!  i am excited and sad... all at the same time!
