some things...

i got the coffee bag from whole foods.  it's coffee grown on the dole plantation farm, on our way to the north shore.  if you have been here, it's lined by those cool looking norfolk pine trees just past the dole plantation.  and, now, it's on a canvas at my house!  (i have one more that i am just itching to do something with... i think a real bag or something!)

playing outside.  with a gorgeous rainbow.  we have had so many recently!!

golfing with the mr.  we had a blast!!!  i may be the next tiger woods, yet!!!

the beib.  he's about the sweetest thing.  i know there was a good reason i took this pic... just can't remember it!!!

no filter.  the other night at the beach at sunset with our fellowship group.  love this group.  this time of night at the beach.  this beach.  this life!

again with the no filter thing...

snaggletooth.  check out his six teeth!!

who me?

the big kids built him a pool... then worked to keep it full for him.  it was so sweet!!  and he loved it!

just in case you were wondering... first morning of operation discipline went well.  in fact, we had so much extra time this morning, i didn't know what to do with myself!  kids stayed in their rooms, i did my quiet time, we all got ready and ate breakfast!

also, i have my meal plan for the week.  and made meatballs from pinterest this week.  there was no source, and my adaptation is this:

1 pound ground beef (ours was from kualoa ranch, you may remember from our date day).
1 cup milk
1/2 cup gluten free flour (forgot to mention that i am trying REALLY HARD to go gluten free.  it sucks!)
1 tsp oregano (or half the bottle that you forgot you took that sprinkle top off of, so it all dumped in!)
1/4 cup fresh basil (from my garden!)
1 tsp salt
2 eggs, beaten
pepper to taste
2 cloves garlic
3/4 cup parm cheese

mix ingredients, form into balls, bake at 350* for 30 minutes.  mine got a little flat, but i think that was the flour, substituted for 1 cup breadcrumbs.  but, it worked perfectly for meatball subs!!

we also had baked zucchini chips.  modified from pintrest!  sliced up zucchini that i bought at the market at gymnastics
(side note...  the little plaza with gymnastics has everything.  gymnastics.  mani/pedis.  karate.  hair salon.  fake purses.  quickie divorces.  vietnamese food.  postal store.  military surplus.  seafood store.  bakery.  and, farmers' market.  told ya... everything!)

okay, so zucchini...  sliced up one zucchini as thin as i could get it.  and sprinkled the rest of the bag of parm cheese, along with some garlic rub.  (btw... we use the garlic rub on EVERYTHING!!!)

so, anyway, that was dinner.  and it was good!  i think it was better than trader joe's meatballs.  some at the table didn't agree.  and asked for those next time.  that will be a long wait!

alright...  there are my pinterest/dinner ideas.  not that you will get one every night, but thought you would enjoy this.  totally recommend the meatballs.  and the zucchini.

btw... chris ate four meatballs.  FOUR.  F.O.U.R!  kid is going to eat me out of house and home!!!
