my kids. a far cry from how we USED to go to the beach!
and yet, there were still quite a few surfers out there!
our church had an outreach at the beach. and this girl got cotton candy!

i think he's grown since that pic last week. he's started eating a ton of food!
it's cooled off this week. 60s and rainy. we are enjoying it. but, may have to turn on the heater soon!
tonight we skyped with some friends! it was so much fun! i don't know why we don't do it more with friends that don't live near us anymore. (actually, these friends never lived near us! d's academy roommate and his wife!) it made the world feel just a little bit smaller!
