d got quite a few fishing trips in and the kids even learned to fish with him.
today, back in rhody... we got up and daddy treated us to a nice breakfast at ihop! it was lovely... and then we decided to look for something free to do. (kinda tired of spending money. and we are morally opposed to PAYING to go to the beaches here. cause you have to pay to park. and i miss my free beaches!!! okay, not really morally opposed, but just used to having our pick of free beaches...)
we decided to go walk around fort adams. we happened upon a regatta. and some friends we knew in san diego. they invited us for lunch and the kids had a BLAST playing. and we had so much fun catching up. (we did know they lived here, just not that we would walk right by their house this morning!!)
