just thought i would share this video of my "sick" baby! don't get me wrong... she has her moments (like at 3am when she had a horrible coughing fit! i got up and we sat in our steam room...aka the shower... and prayed a lot. her coughing stopped!), and she is a little more cuddly and clingy that usual. but, here is a video that shows she is still my nora bean!!
we went to the doctor today, who said her pink eye is looking better! meanwhile as she was checking out her ears again, her ear got nicked with the probe and started bleeding... her poor ear! (nora was vigorously fighting the whole process)
as an aside... we just ran to ikea to pick something up (our water is turned off, so we couldn't do much at home, anyway). i bought some parts for bookshelves on saturday and i was assembling them today. (it's the kind of bookshelves where you buy what parts you need to make it fit the area you want) i needed two more shelves. the parts it came with can't be put in by our drill (the parts don't fit quite right), and we don't have a wrench. so, i figured i would ask one of the guys there if they carried wrenches.
he went and got me the little "s" shaped things that they use to put most of their stuff together. i told him i was looking for a wrench, then got the shelves and showed him what needed screwed in. so, he hands me more screws. i didn't think i could have been more clear by asking for a wrench, but finally i had to show him what i wanted by making the shape with my hands! i mean, i am not a toolbelt diva, but it was just a wrench!!! honestly!
so, we're back home and playing!!! enjoy the video!
