umm... this happened.  she looks mad.  she wasn't.  it's just the angle of the picture.  she wasn't even phased until i got mad.

she helped them blend a little better.  mostly they look like short wisps brushed to the side.  and they will grow out nice!  

it's summer break.  and i totally used to judge those parents who were so ready for summer to be over.  i have had a few of those moments recently.  but, am really trying to LOVE summer and our lack of schedule and structure and just being with my kids.

today, since the cleaning lady was here and they were in the way, i loaded them in the car and took them to jamba juice.  they had been asking for it earlier in the week and i kept telling them no.  their response when i said yes was priceless!  i loved it and it was so worth it.  nora's sweet hug, their good attitudes, the bonus nap jamey took in the car...  plus, we found a beautiful new drive that was such good therapy!!

also, i have been trying out a whole new, no tv thing.  today they got a show while i finished a quilt top, but they were thrilled to get in the car and have a show on!  otherwise the no tv thing has been going well.  i have never been a stickler for little tv.  but they WILL play together if i just turn off the tv. so, there you go!
