after the sweetness i posted yesterday, i got a casual yell from the play room: "mom, james is cutting my hair".  "okay, well tell him not to!"  then nothing.  when i went in to check the progress of their cleaning (which, despite the song wasn't that clean!), i noticed large chunks of hair on the floor.  i mean, he CUT her hair!  (i'll put the pics up tomorrow!)  

sidenote... they were fighting yesterday morning, and she gave him a 4 inch scratch down the side of his face...  

when asked why she didn't try to get away, she said, (quick thinker that my girl is) "i was trying to obey and not fight with him..."  well... can't argue with that one!  

we have had cutting problems once before, and i kinda figured at 4 1/2 we were done with it.  i mean, he uses scissors well.  i didn't REALLY think he would cut that much.  or that his sister would LET him cut that much!  but there we have it!

thankfully, my neighbor used to be a hair dresser for aveda.  so, the "hair saloner" (as my kids called her) came over and helped even it out, so it would grow back nicely.  

and they continued to fight today...  so, they are in their rooms for quiet time.  i don't quite know what to do with myself!  are soaps on anymore?  (just kidding!!!)
