they took a tour of david's ship on saturday night before they left.  none of the whole ship pictures are ACTUALLY of david's ship.  but the rest are.  she did a good job taking pics!

the military has a lot of great resources for deployment.  tonight, david and i did a counseling session with a group from ucla who help families with deployments.  so, we met with them tonight and then next week we take the kids.  to give the kids and me tools to deal with the deployment.  it was really interesting.  i am excited to go with the kids. 

as she did our session tonight, she was shocked that we were so "normal".  or good in our relationship.  not that we don't have our share of problems... but, we are good.  i am so thankful for that.
