fish tacos... dinner last night, and again for lunch today. requested by the four year old. awesome!

a quick beach trip yesterday morning...

wow.. LOVE where we live!

at first, we were the only fair skinned people on the beach. actually, the only beach goers. there were about 30 surfers out at 9am. other kids started to join. you can see where the waves break, there is a sand bar just in front of that, and a nice quiet beach until then. it was SO PERFECT!! jamey spent quite a bit of time in the water!!

went to do prenatal registration today. somehow my appt got screwed up and it said i was supposed to have it yesterday (written down at home that it's today). and, no one can figure out what to do with me at 16 weeks transferring in from a civilian provider.

add to that that they still have me listed in certain computer systems as active duty. it's a little messy. i know each system has its kinks. i have WORKED in the military health system. it's not perfect, but it works. but army and navy don't talk (ob is seen here by army). military doesn't talk to civilian. there are so many hoops to jump through... it makes me wonder why we think the government should run ALL healthcare. (enough on my political diatribe!!! i could go on... hello, budget anyone?)

but, i think we are all set. they went, SOMEHOW, from not been able to see me until the END of next week to the FIRST appointment tomorrow... sweet! (and, luckily my sweet bro will still be here to watch my kids!!!)

and, i am not active duty in any system anymore!!
