my attempt at a bob and larry cake... i forgot to leave out some white frosting for the eyes and mouth. i think i would have been happier then. at least jamey was happy! (and, this is where my creativity runs out... i can sew, i can't decorate cakes!)
the birthday boy! when the party first started, all the friends were upstairs (okay, they are mostly nora's age, except g.), and jamey was downstairs playing by himself...
he did, however, love being the center of attention for "happy birthday". he clapped and cheered when everyone was done!
auntie sarah and nora... it was so much fun to have the hailes down here for the night. the adults went out last night (second time i have left jamey on his birthday), and had a wonderful evening out! MIL was SUCH a wonderful help getting ready! so thankful. i didn't have too much food (a presley family trait), and everyone seemed to have fun. a dear friend took some pictures for me, since our camera is still in the shop. and of course, the hailes took some, too!
it was fun to have our sadie dog here for the night, too! she has lyme disease and couldn't walk earlier this week. thankfully, she seems to be fine and will make a full recovery! that's the birthday review!
