wow.... a birthday and a dress!!

totally thought i had posted these... from james' birthday.

mmm... delicious!

made this dress for nora... that's why i forgot to blog yesterday. i am making nora's flower girl dress for uncle andrew's wedding. i wanted to try it out first on less expensive fabric. so, i made this. i think it's her easter dress!!

and, i learned i don't need so much tie! it's a little long for her! but otherwise, the dress was a success!! i am quite exited, and nora LOVES her princess dress!!

i also learned (and do EVERY. TIME. i sew) that "a stitch in time saves nine". if only i would apply that!!
