forgot to mention...

oh yeah. forgot to mention. we had an earthquake here today! oddly enough, i felt one in 2003 while working. i was sitting on these shaky stools anyway, and one of the nurses about threw me off! i thought she was crazy, then i realized the floor was rolling. i just remember that one of our docs was delivering a baby!!!

then, i felt one while driving. maybe a year later. haven't felt one since. but, we were outside after everyone left. i brought out a towel and decided to lay down. i wanted to be in the sun and enjoy my family. but i was tired! i had JUST laid down when the ground started shaking. it was windy, and i asked david if he felt anything. he said no. but, it kept going. finally, i told him to lay on the ground. he did and said he felt the earthquake. i was just so glad to know i wasn't crazy. about thirty minutes later, i felt more shaking when i was in the house. i hear they are still debating whether that was an aftershock or new earthquake. our neighbors said their tv shook and they had to hold things in place! it was crazy!!!

just so you know. but, we (as well as all our belongings) are okay!!! it seems you trade one natural disaster for another... tornadoes, earthquakes, volcanoes!!!
