a perfect end...

a perfect end to a perfect weekend. chelsey and her mom, pam, along with aunt lu and jeanie came over for a bbq last night. good food... great company and a fabulous time! i looked at the time at 7:50pm. i had just put james to bed. it felt like five minutes later that i looked at the time. it was 9:30. david went to bed before nora last night! we just had so much fun. it was a gorgeous night. we had twinkling lights around the beams, and too many laughs to count! a perfect end to a great weekend!

also, nora wanted to look at pictures today. so, i grabbed a photo album. she loved pointing out all the people... (mostly baby nora). she pointed out "coo-coo grandpa" (great-grandpa peter haile), along with all the usuals... (grammie, grandpa, mom-mom, pop-pop, all the aunties and uncles, etc) then, she saw uncle joey. she pointed him out... loving him because he always sings her the mickey mouse song! then, saw auntie em (my cousin). i said "who's that?". nora said "cinderella"! so cute...

yesterday, nora went down for a nap. i could hear her playing in her room, and she usually falls asleep. soon, i could really smell something (i also know that she tends to poop around this time) and figured i would go change her pull-up and then let her sleep. so, opened the door to find a naked little bum and a pile of diaper wipes (also not sure how she got ahold of those... they are usually stored up high!). she looked at me and told me how she went poopy and helped mommy by cleaning herself up! awesome... what a HUGE help! so, after cleaning her and her room, she finally got left alone.
