at dinner, david got sent to go catch a piece of shrimp in his mouth!! (and he did!!)
the view from our hotel room!!!
a viewpoint in the mountains!!
the love of my life. i can't believe it's been four years. and yet, it feels like forever (in the best of ways). i can't remember or imagine my life without him! we slept in and relaxed by the pool. last night, our dinner reservation was at EIGHT PM!! and we went to the pool on our first night at 7:30pm... all things that would have been after children's bedtimes! it was so great to have 48 hours away. david planned out the weekend for us and did a great job! the pool(s- there were five) was great, the company better... and there was such comfort in knowing that loving, spoiling grandparents were taking care of the babies! (who, by the way, had an awesome time with mom-mom and pop-pop). the first night we called at bedtime to say goodnight. nora said "come home, mommy". i think it was just a "you are gone, come home" type comment. the next morning, she said "go away, mommy" (we had been talking up mommy and daddy going away". she got to see mickey mouse downtown and sounds like she had a ball! the aforementioned grandparents are, however, asleep on the couch!! passed out might be a better term!! i think everyone had an awesome weekend!! we'll have to do it again soon!
thanks david for marrying me and making all my dreams come true! thanks for a wonderful weekend...
thanks mom and dad, for watching my two angels and loving and spoiling them! i'm so glad they were good!

wow dave, your smile is really coming along! im impressed! and one quick question, in the shrimp catching pic, is that lady drunk or sleeping or what. i couldn't really tell, but it's my favorite part of that picture.
ha ha... she's just leaning to get out of the picture... not too drunk!
