mother may i??

as is custom when i have my blog open, i think of things throughout the day to blog about (i guess you could call this my form of tweeting). it's convenient! so, this morning, nora did something and i was a little bummed. she said "i'm so sorry, it's my fault".

a few minutes ago, she was asking to go outside. i told her yes she could and i was so proud, because she asked and she knows she isn't allowed to go outside without asking. then, she looked very confused. i told her she could go. she went and played.

so, a few minutes ago, she was back inside (and i was in and out, setting the table to eat outside tonight). she was standing in the doorway and asked "mommy, please my i go outside?" i said "yes". what a sweet girl!! she gets it!! (for these five minutes, at least!!!)
