don't know why i just found these, but this is the napali coast picture. and the kurama shooting a rocket torpedo.
from navy.mil today... david was standing next to the guy who took this pic. and that's david's 5 inch gun shooting. (for you non-military types, that's a five inch diameter round... as was just explained to me!)
we couldn't see daddy pulling in, although he saw us (all that blue camo... blends right in!! no, he was in a different spot, and we just didn't see him...), so nora wanted to go pier side. the girl behind nora was standing there waiting with black jeans, an unzipped up hoodie, and her bikini top hanging out. it was CRAZY!!! (although, i know now my next outfit for david's homecoming!!!) david said when they saw here, she was laying sprawled out on the curb. awesome...
