snuggling her brother. she is the best helper!
boys...
baby boy… all snug in his bassinet!
eyes open. doesn't happen often!
meeting auntie byssa! (i seriously could NOT be surviving without her. i joke that she's my nanny. but, really, it's not a joke! she has been amazing!)
more of eyes open… sweet baby boy!
kisses from chris!
naptime for the boys!
chatting with daddy before bed.
the night before he left. it was so precious!
the morning daddy left. i got up to get dressed and left them like this! my heart melted!
did i say how nice it was to have brandon before david left? not just because i loved having david around for the delivery! or because i needed him at the hospital the next day when i got my tubes tied. or that he got to see his baby before he left.
but, it kept us so distracted from the looming deployment!
and now, he's gone. our family gained and lost members in one week. (thankfully the loss is only for a few months! and only by location… not permanent!)
on a different note, the big boys had their yearly check ups yesterday…
j-38.4 pounds. about the 25th percentile. height- 3'5". still about 25%
c- 28.4 pounds. 50-75%. height- 2'10". 25-50%
both are doing great. c impressed her so much with his speech, that we don't have to do another hearing exam! whoo hoo...
