c has been under the weather this weekend. he's been extra snuggly and sleepy. and crazy feverish. i think we are over the worst. i left the kids with d yesterday and had a conference. let's just say, for a variety of reasons, both locally and nationally, i was lucky to have the conference to go to! but, it was a great day. i did some kayaking, sup-ing, learned how to make cake pops and got a great tour of schofield barracks. i forget that there is so much history there... they think they actually had the first bombs dropped on dec 7th. general patton lived there (and as the guide was pointing out his house, one of the girls on the tour lived in that house!!!). it was really neat to hear that history.
i got a ball dress. we have the ball next weekend! looking forward to a date with my prince charming...
