cause that's what you'll feel like after this post!!!
remember jamey's field trip a few weeks ago... finally the pictures are downloaded!!!
getting ready to start our pineapple express tour...
back up to a quick breakfast on the north shore... kono's if you are in the neighborhood. and, we ran into friends, so we got to join them! (also, btw- let jamey have a GLUTEN waffle... he was a different child that day. and i have backup. c had been spending a few days with us, and she witnessed it with her own eyes!! so, back to the gluten free for him..)
mmm. red dirt!
pineapple fields. and, in case you haven't ever seen it, the pineapples grow on top of those plants. so different than how i pictured it!
miss c and jamey...
sweet baby c fell asleep as soon asa the train ride started!
it was a slightly overcast, and a bit chilly, of a morning, but loved seeing the mountains in the distance!
and the plans in the foreground!
j was a little chilly... he buried his head in miss c!!
more on the pineapple plantation...
my silly pineapple and me!
the four of us...
aren't we cute.... and total tourists???
c slept through all the dole whip, too!
(and jamey didn't like it... sad for mommy who had to eat it!!!)
i finished two daddy deployment quilts tonight. so fun to see them done... sad that it means another daddy is leaving.
did you know that april is the month of the military child? did you know that nora has lived in 5 houses, moved states three times, and is not even 6? kind of amazing the things we put our kids through. NOT complaining. i love our life. but it's hard for kids to adapt to, sometimes. they do a good job!!! they adjust to daddy coming home every night, and then not coming home for nights on end. to moves or their friends moving. to all that being a military "brat" entails.
and they "endure" living in hawaii. and security in the fact that daddy has a good, well paying job. and we have health care. decent health care. and, thankfully, i get to be around for them.
anyway... daddies are getting ready to leave again. not ours yet. but our time will come. so, while we have our daddy, we support those who don't.
