gluten free pizza, delivered to the pool!!! she really liked it...
it was a wonderful day. other than a glitch this morning, my kids behaved so well! i love days like that. i switched nora's swimming lessons, moving her up a level. it was so much nicer to have her in one where she was being challenged. she did great!
then, we went to the pool and were met with a starbucks. and, the pizza was on its way. i could get used to that. we came home to nap after fun at the pool!! then, off to froyo and popcorn in hudson. then, haircuts for both kids. it was the first time we were the only kids in the shop and it was so peaceful. and they were good! (and, i had coupons!!!)
dinner and i flew out the door to see some friends in town from south africa. i haven't seen them in YEARS. i mean, like 8 years. so fun! i just wanted to keep hugging them, because they smelled like south africa. and some awesome memories.
then, on to a walk with a DEAR, dear friend. (and wearing my wonderful new vibrims!!!) we walked around this beautiful lake, and it was so fun to catch up and be kid free and just sit on the swing, watching the sun go down, and chat. LOVED my night!
it was a good day. with good friends. and, my husband is going to sleep in my bed in SEVEN. NIGHTS!!!! as i told the kids, seven sleeps... I. CAN'T. WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am glad this next week is so busy...
oh, and a friend is coming to visit this weekend!!!!
