all he wanted to do was eat his "cockcorn". no rides for this boy!

asleep in his big boy bed.. the first night. he fell out twice.. so we now have a bar there, and he's slept till 7am or later since then!

mmm... it's truly maui old. SO GOOD!!! i think we've had pineapple every day!!

i got leied!!! so fun to see my hubby. i had tears in my eyes, landing, walking to baggage claim reading the sign "aloha". realizing i was "home". seeing my husband, greeting me with a lei (i didn't think he would think of that... i am so blessed!)

my sweet boys on the plane. his last sucks on the paci. it was confiscated when we got off the plane, never to be seen again... despite him asking "where paci go? go buy me a new one!!"

the 12 bags, 4 carryons, 2 carseats and a stroller... all made it in one piece!!

we are here. and surviving. and loving it. i am in starbucks, enjoying the music and the internet. we get ours tomorrow! then, there will be more regular blogging!

i LOVE our house. did i tell you i have prayed for this exact house and floorplan since we found out we were moving to hawaii? it's amazing (with plenty of room for guests, especially before baby comes! hint, hint...). it's so close to david's work. the airport. target. navy exchange. downtown. the pool. a playground. we are really learning our way around.

we spent thursday and saturday at the beach. LOVED it! on saturday, it was the first time i remember PLAYING in the ocean in a LONG time. like, since my honeymoon. the kids love it. nora swims in the water like a fish. she told me, "like a hawaiian". sweet.

our house is almost all unpacked. our room still needs work, and stuff needs hung up on the walls.

i am still getting used to the time difference. i want to make a phone call, and then i realize it's too late. so bear with me. i want to talk to you all!! i really do!

nora is having the hardest time adjusting. jamey is doing great. nora is still up too early for my tastes, but we will keep working on it!

the kids both start school in a week! they are excited! it's also about five minutes away.

we have been spending a lot of time with leigh and kids.... it's been so fun to hang out with them. and to have good friends. in fact, leigh babysat the kids on friday night so the davids and i could go to "harry potter". i love having my bro here... trying to convince him to transfer into u of hawaii... but, he just got into the farmer school of business at miami (super prestigious!). i think he might go back...

we went to church with leigh and the kids today and LOVED it. i met a really nice mom and it was so fun to find so much in common. i think we will be back. they are looking for a pastor currently (anyone??), but we liked it a lot.
