david's ship was underway the last few days, and it was long not hearing his voice. it was wonderful to talk to him last night...

when i got back from san diego/salt lake city, i got to ichat with david. it was the last time our ichat worked. but it was so nice... i got to tell him that he is going to be a dad again. it was so fun to watch him react to the news. i told nora later, and she was so excited. she keeps talking about "our baby". and wants to name the baby "jewelry". jamey, however, wants to name the baby "bad guy". (he's currently obsessed with bad guys... the ones in veggie tales!)

i have hinted at it a few times. we were surprised by the news... (but that's what we get for two weeks without kids!!) but a good surprised. and it came at the perfect time. because we found out when we did, we qualified for a bigger house on base. and it is available earlier than a 3 bedroom would be.

i struggled with when to write something here. it feels like society says to wait. (but it's really hard for me to keep a secret!) and, if i had a miscarriage, i would write about it here. so, there you go! i am due in late january. i have my first ultrasound in a few weeks. we are pretty stoked here about it... although i am OVERWHELMINGLY tired. just adding a little more to the madness...
