pictures this afternoon, i promise! we halfway have our internet connection now. but, thought i would tell you about prayers at breakfast today. nora prayed. she really enjoys doing that right now. "dear Jesus. thank you for the Lord. and for the sun and the rain that you make shine and rain. and for the dark. amen".
we are pretty much moved in. i have a few things to clear up in my sewing room, and we have to get the boxes out of here. also, have to rearrange a dryer situation. nora had her first day of school on thursday, and today is the first day of ballet.
the house looks good now. it's an old newport house with a ton of charm. i love shabby chic. this house was just shabby. actually, utter disrepair was used to describe it on more than one occasion. it's better now! i will detail more with pictures. it might have to be a series of blogs, as i have about 35 "before" pictures. some of the stuff you wouldn't believe!!!
