nora and her "i obeyed on the plane" gift.
jamey and his said gift!!!
chris just looking studly!!!
chris and his spiky hair... just like daddy would do!
post bath drools...
ALLLLL... his chins!
we lit the candles on my cupcakes... and daddy called! it was perfect timing. i got to talk to my love and hear him sing to me!!! couldn't have asked for a better gift!
my birthday breakfast!!! g-free pancakes with strawberries!
my girls... after birthday dinner and a movie! i am so thankful for these women in my life!!!
phew... today started with boot camp. i was anxious. and nervous. and thought i would puke. so i prayed for peace. and pulled into the parking lot. and there was a good friend from church. ALSO on her first day of boot camp. and she was nervous. so we got to be together!! it was so nice.
my arms currently hurt. and they feel like they are going to hurt more soon. but, the first day went well. it's the good hurt. and i am looking forward to more days!
after boot camp, we went to the focus meeting. the kids talked to the auntie about daddy's deployment. it was a good meeting. we have one more meeting with her... then we graduate! cause we are doing so well.
a lovely afternoon... nora asked me to sit and watch a movie with her. so i did. i have been working on loving my children. and showing them that. and doing what THEY need, not what i want to do. (okay, not ALL the time... there are sometimes when things need to get done, or they can't get their way!!) then, we played outside while i cleaned the garage a bit!
a quick run to target after dinner to pick up a printed picture for jamey's class tomorrow. it took longer to get there and back then to actually get the pic! phew... loading up three kids, driving, unloading them, paying $1.47 for a few pics, loading three kids back up, driving, unloading them. almost not worth it!! almost.
then came the COMPLETE. and TOTAL. meltdown. that started with a request to put something away. and ended in tears and begin told someone doesn't like me. after MAJOR discussion, and time in her room, said child came in, unprompted, and apologized, and changed it. HALLELUJAH!!! i love when they get it!!!
