God is faithful...

all the time. i have been learning that repeatedly this summer. i should say relearning. and i am continually learning to depend on Him, trust Him and wait patiently for HIS plan. and, it's fun to see the blessings as they come- which i recognize more because i am waiting on Him. from cars that die on road trips to hassles with landlords to incredible deals on sewing machines to wanting to rent a certain house, have it slip through your hands, only to get a better one for cheaper... it's fun to see the answers to prayer. i had been praying about the one house, mostly that if it wasn't for us, the door would close. it closed, and i was okay with it. this weekend, we got a lease agreement on a FAR better house for FAR less! thank you Lord. it's so easy to miss when He is blessing us, to see it as a coincidence, a fluke, good luck.

on the blessing note... i have been dwelling on a few recently. first, while it sucks (sorry mom, i did use that word, but there's not another one that describes it as well) that david is gone every week, he has a wonderful job that pays well, and I DON'T HAVE TO WORK!! what a blessing that is! i don't want to work. i am SO THANKFUL that i get to be home with my kids. (well, most days i am thankful!!) AND, we get to live close enough that we get to see david on the weekends. and what a fun weekend! david and the kids had so much fun together!!! it's so cute to watch them!

another blessing... living with my fam! i slept in quite a bit these last few days, and there is SO MUCH that my mom does for us, not limited to frequent, FREE babysitting! it's been so fun to be here, such a huge help, and just so nice to be around! i KNOW i take it for granted. thanks mom, and dad, for letting us be here! we are having a BLAST!!! we are going to miss you...

blogger is having a VERY hard time uploading pictures. i am of the popular opinion that it isn't a post without pictures, so i haven't been posting. but, since i can't get pictures to load, i decided to start posting... so, i will keep trying to upload pics, but i will at least be better about posting!!!
