winter storm.

ended up being the only picture of david's christmas party... i had my shoes in the bag, in my bag, so we could run into target. i didn't want to run through target in heels!

so, it's a winter storm here. torrential downpour all day long. it's kind of fun, if you don't have anywhere to be. thankfully, we don't today. friends came over here to play, and nora was fascinated with the rain when they left. i held her out in it for a second. that was about all she wanted. the dog, on the other hand, is refusing to go outside. she hasn't been out since last night. yeah, she'll transition well to a winter locale!! maybe about as well as i do anymore!

we had a fun weekend. i did "me" stuff all day on saturday and david had the kids! it was great. ran six miles in the morning... came home and showered. then, nora and i went to try on "princess" dresses (flower girl dresses) and she was AWESOME! she was rewarded by a trip to the green monkey store (trader joe's), and then i ran more errands during nap time!

yesterday was church, then a fun surprise party for a friend. brittany had the kids again, and again, they had a ball! nora had some MAJOR success today, stopping in the middle of a show to GO POTTY! twice! i am so proud! also, forgot to put the locks back on her doors after her friends left (i took them off so they could get in and out of her room), and she is napping. i heard her banging around, but she hasn't tried to open her door!

meanwhile, i am working on some creative memories stuff, and james woke up. he has just been crawling around the floor!! what a sweet boy. he couldn't be more content. i picked him up and he just wiggled until i let him free again!
