conjunctivitis...

nora as we went to have pictures taken... if you want to see the pics and haven't, email me!!!



david watched nora and jeffrey the other night while chelsey and i went out for about an hour. we came home to find him with both babies in his arms... apparently they were getting a little cranky at the end. the others are pics he texted to us! ahh, technology!! they had so much fun. well, nora did anyway. she discovered that she could grab and shake jeffrey by his shirt. it was like a real live doll for her! then, they both went in for a full on kiss! none of us had cameras ready, but they looked like they enjoyed it! i am glad they are such good friends!! (and i am glad that chelsey and jeff still let jeffrey play with us!!!)

















so, nora has pink eye.... but i think conjunctivitis sounds so much better (and describes the look so well!!) she woke up yesterday with gunk all in her eye. so, we went to the doctor. we saw two. the first one was in training, then the boss had to come in. nora did pretty well through both exams, until we had to hold her down so they could look in her ears! she was not a fan. however, she took great naps and slept so well last night! i can tell she's sick, because when i lay her down in bed, it's like "finally mom, you put me down". she just sinks into the bed and goes right to sleep. not a peep! it's the nora of 8 weeks... not the one we have been putting to bed the last few months!


but, she is a champ and has been taking her eye drops pretty well! i have been giving her some extra vitamins, and she even takes those well! what a good girl!



so, my eyes have been itching like crazy! but, i think that's mostly in my head... nothing gunky here yet! i have been trying hard to keep her hands away from her eyes (you can imagine with an 8 mo old how easy that is), and give her only toys that are easily washable!
