i let him fall asleep twice today. it was so fun to just rock him!!!

so, i LOVE to blog.  i love the memories it holds for me.  i love sharing my life with the three of you that read it!  i also hope that some day my kids might read it and enjoy it.  i have been following a blogger, kara, and she has cancer.  she was sharing the videos that she is making for her kids.  i hope my kids look at this the same!

life is busy.  i keep waiting for it to slow down.  and it hasn't yet.  i think it just might not.  but the kids are in swimming (j) and gymnastics (n).  they are both doing really well at it and it's fun to watch!

it's cooled off this week.  60s and rainy.  we are enjoying it.  but, may have to turn on the heater soon!  

tonight we skyped with some friends!  it was so much fun!  i don't know why we don't do it more with friends that don't live near us anymore.  (actually, these friends never lived near us!  d's academy roommate and his wife!)   it made the world feel just a little bit smaller!

i can't believe it's almost mid october.  holy cow!  and we are moving and shaking here.  b is on the move, and sitting for longer periods of time.  and loving food!  

c is just a joy.  i love his conversations with me.  yesterday, he found the lid to a cup, and said, "aren't you happy, mama?"  so precious!

the big kids are loving school.  it's such a joy to see!  i hate having them gone from me all day and am trying hard to keep after school not so crazy!  which is not so hard when they all want to be involved in a ton of stuff!  picking and choosing!

it's fall here.  allergies, colds, and changing colors.  i am trying to clear out our garage so i can park in there, in anticipation of the winter!

holy cow!  it's not that hard to upload pics, and yet it seems to take me forever!  i am loving this season of our life and trying to embrace it for all it's worth.  but, it's a busy season!  and we consume a lot of food as a family of 6!  and wear a lot of clothes.  especially as it's turning to fall and that means layers!

life is good today.  chris is waiting for me in his room.  he's making dinner.  it's pizza.  i have to go!
