at the zoo, jamey was talking to the bear. (side note... my kids are OBSESSED with "super why" right now. a show on pbs.) he kept saying, "i am a super reader. i am a super reader. my name is jamey. i am talking to you, bear!!" he didn't understand why the bear wasn't talking back. it was SO CUTE!!

what a WONDERFUL weekend. friday night was nora's little party. saturday, we hung out, napped, went to the pool. went to bed early. sunday was church. ichatting with daddy. outside pool. relaxing. a movie with mom. today was packing for me... two suitcases down!!! then the zoo, and then a fabulous, lowkey bbq with friends. such a laid back evening (maybe because i only had one kid??? the other stayed home with the grents, for some quality time!).

there were a lot of cards played this weekend. a lot of just hanging out with friends and family. a lot of talking to the sexy man i call my husband! (i missed that this last week..) although, we can't get sound and picture to match. so, we can see each other, but still have to talk on the phone. but, hey...

tonight, i watched "eagle eye" with my dad.

tomorrow... WE MOVE IN!!! my sweet hubs bought me a new tv for our bedroom... actually, an upgrade for downstairs and the downstairs tv will go in our bedroom. my request in anticipation for deployments! LOVE THAT MAN! and all that he does to protect my freedom!

check out those stitches. they are a little lopsided! (is that the nurse in me, or the seamstress in me!!) but really, it looks SO. MUCH. BETTER. and doesn't really bother him at all. he gets so frustrated when his bandaid comes off, but tries to pull at the stitches, too. and doesn't seem to be in pain.

my slave labor! i have been working on a big project, and my sweet friends offered to help. (i supplied refreshments!) it was wonderful! we got mostly done! i am so thankful for them... and all the work they did! (but mostly for their friendship!)
