friends in ohio...

and the girls...  at fro yo in coventry (picadilly if you are local!).  it's all organic/and or/vegan.  the fruit for the top is fresh from the farmer's market every day.  SO AMAZING!!!!

we had an AMAZING dinner... the chicken was from our friends' backyard.  wow!  i had accompanying scrambled eggs for breakfast the next day.  never had anything like that!  talk about farm fresh and the difference it makes!  david tells me i would not want to be the farmer, however...  sounds to me like it COULD BE a fun retirement plan!

this should be the last of our trip home.  these pics were just too good not to share.  it's fun to go back and look at these pics, because it just felt like we didn't stop while we were there!!!  but, oh so much fun!  so much we didn't get to see or do, but we'll be back!

well...  last week, we got lice.  after our haircuts.  it was so sad.  but, nora weathered it well, and my house is SO CLEAN now!  and i reorganized the whole house.  it was wonderful.  and so thankful for a sweet friend who came running to the house and spent the next 48 hours sequestered with us... when everyone else was running the other direction!

more vacation pics.  can't remember if i put some of these up or not.  but haven't uploaded pics of this week yet... i have been nitpicking.  literally.  picking lice nits out of my daughter's hair.  fun times!!!  anyway...  pics of that to come.  nora's been great with it, and asked at one point if she was going to be okay!  i had to laugh and realize that she didn't understand that while it's super annoying to have lice, it was such an easy thing.  comparatively!

i have been rearranging the house this week.  and organizing.  and purging.  we have WAY too much stuff.  especially by way of toys!  and, we haven't lived somewhere longer than a year since nora was 1.  so, it was time to do some cleaning... since we have been here 2 years!  closets were filling with junk.  desk drawers had papers i didn't need.  it's such a good feeling.  or it will be when i am not surrounded by piles!!!

we wore those kids out at home.  and they have been sleeping so much this week.  it's been sweet...  we are readjusted to "our time" and enjoying being back home...

david went in to tuck all the kids in bed last night, when we were going to bed.  he found chris sitting up in his bed.  not sure for how long.  never made a peep.  it was so cute!

nora has been shadowing me.  it's been really fun.  and cute.  she's been brushing her teeth in the morning with me, and will come in asking if i had done it yet.  sometimes i have, but it's so precious, but i have to do it again.  it makes her so happy!  she puts on deodorant, and will put on jewelry, an outfit like mine, to match.  i love her!!!
